How to Cut Flowers

Cut flowers take nutrients and water in through their stems. They expel excess water and minerals through pores in their leaves and petals.

Essentially, they eat and drink through their stems and pee and poop through their leaves/petals.

So remember to cut off all leaves that will sit below the water line. Your flowers will live longer because you shouldn’t s—- where you eat.
